Lebanese

Coin Vert

Str. C-tin Sandu Aldea 75
Tel: 224 76 35
12:00-24:00
Though you may expect a Coin Vert to be a New York catholic turned protestant, it is in fact a Lebanese restaurant in northern Bucharest. Authentic food at good prices, and the sweetest desserts in the city.

La Bacha

Calea 13 Septembrie 90 (JW Marriott Grand Hotel)
Tel: 403 31 03
12:00-24:00
Simply the best Lebanese restaurant in town. They have an open kitchen which is always a good sign of the house's confidence in its own hygienic conditions. The menu is extensive and everything on it is well executed. A bright pleasant atmosphere on the ground floor of the Marriott, and bargain prices. Greatly recommended and hugely popular.

Paradis 2

Str. Hristo Botev 10
Tel: 315 26 01
08:00-22:30
What incredible value. Middle-Eastern food including the usual suspects of fallafel, humus, tabouleh all perfectly made with copious amounts of pitta bread and olives for the price of a bad pizza elsewhere. To keep costs even lower, go for the dishes of the day on display. Recommended.

Piccolo Mondo

Str. Clucerului 9
Tel: 223 22 25
Fax: 222 95 22
12:00-01:00
Lebanese food that is both filling (with plenty for vegetarians to choose from) and well made. Kebabs are one of the chef's strong points, and are very tasty indeed. After your meal you can enjoy a smoke on a hookah pipe. Always packed so reserve a table.
